Web version now posted of 50th Anniversary commemorative display

We have heard from many Thomson friends and alumni who are curious to view our newly unveiled 50th Anniversary commemorative display, but for various reasons are unable to visit the school.

To satisfy your curiosity, our webmaster has prepared a special interactive web page that presents the entire 50-year panorama of images that comprise this impressive display.

Proudly we present the interactive web version of Thomson Alumni Association’s 50th Anniversary commemorative display.

What an incredible blast from the past!

I have not made it back to the school since my departure in 1983, when I moved away.
An incredible job by all involved.
Couldn’t believe I made 1981 with my favorite science teacher Mr Woolley.
Saw many old friends that I think about often too.

Thomson memories are still the best!

Health & happiness to all my old friends,

Barry Yetman

This is awesome! (Emphasis on awesome.)

I graduated in 2007, so I only attended DMT in its later life. It’s really cool to see the school evolve through this display.

As well, thank-you to the folks who took on the daunting task of digitizing this.

Uhhhh, I graduated in 1995, the feeling is still very strong, great memories still feels like yesterday. I would love to meet up with old friends, but I can not remember their name except few, Thompson all the way, I would love to talk to Shermeen and Robina, good friends in this school.

Wow. Can’t believe that it was 1978 when I left Thomson Collegiate! Love to hear from some of the people who graduated in 1977 or 1978…..Rob Fisher, Ken Veen, Donna Henry, John Stacey. Had great memories of Miss Pollard’s French classes and Mr. Sweet’s biology. It’s been a long time!!
